LET’S CREATE
A New Dialogue
Galleries offer so much more than exhibitions and visual arts-based activities; our program has been designed to interrogate the role of galleries as spaces for community activation. Conversations at the Summit aim to position galleries not only as hubs for creativity and cultural interactions but as key community organisations, contributing to economic growth, education, social connectedness, tourism and health and wellbeing.
Creative Spaces presents opportunities to think about cultural infrastructure in a practical way, the development of precincts and how facilities with slightly different ambitions achieve synergy. We will also talk about how creative spaces are funded and managed currently and what is possible in the future.
